New Store Software + CENTAUR is ready for casting!

Thu Oct 29, 2009, 1:14 PM
It took a little bit, but I finally broke down and installed some actual store software on my website. I am completely paranoid that I'm going to lose an order or miscalculate some quantity of resins I have in stock, and I don't want to be "that artist."

The new store is up and live here:

It pretty much works the same way as the old store, except you do have to make a login (I control it all, though, so no worries about some random company sucking up your personal info). The up side is multifaceted, though, since you can pay with a credit card if you don't have Paypal, and there's also a check/MO option. Also, shipping is now a bit more organized, and multiple small items can ship together for the same rate.

Bad news, though: I just got the first and last shipment of the loaf kitties, as well as the last of the sitting longhair cats. If you were considering buying one, there's only about five left of each of them as of my writing this journal. Both molds have worn out (I'm possibly getting a second mold done of the loaf cat since it wore out way too fast, should have gotten at least 40-50 copies but didn't even end up with 30) so for the moment this is the very last of what I'll have of them. If you were considering getting one (or more) to paint for a Christmas gift or something, you may want to grab them now before they're gone. I don't know that I'll be able to get the new batch until January since the casting place is a little backed up with work at the moment.

On the up side: For anyone who likes my centaur girl, I've finally decided to offer copies of her for sale. Her preorder price is $120 and you are offered a choice between wired and non-wired legs. In case anyone's wondering, this particular girl is going to a different caster due to the shared copyright issue...the lady who did the original horse sculpt is also a resin caster! so I figured who better to cast this remake than her.

I'm also rounding the bend on several more art projects (yes, all at once...might not be the best idea, but oh well <XD) and I hope to have some more work to post soon!

My name is M. Osedo (大瀬戸 if you're curious, it's an odd name) and I do sculpture work. I also used to do miniature wax work for jewelry and would like to get back into it at some point. My favorite subjects to sculpt are animals, fantasy/mythological creatures, and girls; if you don't like any of these things you probably won't like my work, since that's pretty much all you'll probably see on this account. XD

This is the alternate account of :iconponygir1:, for sculpture art (jewelry and figures). To see my 2D art, please visit [link] . My official website is [link] .
